The pipe materials used in automobile can be divided into three categories, namely nylon pipe, rubber pipe and metal pipe. PA6, PA11 and PA12 are the main nylon pipes. These three materials are called aliphatic PA, PA6 and PA12 are ring opening polymerization and PA11 is condensation polymerization. Generally speaking, the simpler the molecular materials of the automobile pipeline, the easier it will crystallize.


Nylon pipe is divided into single layer nylon pipe and double nylon pipe. The inner layer thickness of nylon pipe is different in different structure.



Nylon pipe has the following advantages: oil resistance (gasoline, diesel), lubricating oil and grease, excellent chemical resistance. Cold impact resistance: PA11 is resistant to low temperature impact of 150 ℃ and PA12 to low temperature impact of 140 ℃. The range of temperature used is wide: the range of PA11 temperature is -40-125 ℃, PA12 position is -40-105 ℃, and the low temperature impact performance of PA11 pipe is good after 125 ℃, 1000h, 150 ℃ and 16h aging test. ▼ corrosion resistance of oxygen and zinc salt: resistant to 50% zinc chloride solution for more than 200H. Resistance to battery acid and ozone: nylon has strong resistance to corrosion media such as alkali, salt, ether, oil, grease, chemical solvent, marine air and water-based hydraulic pressure, which can replace expensive woven metal setifluron and theoco rubber tubes, and can also inhibit the growth and propagation of fungi and molds. The material is self-lubricating material with low vibration resistance, wear resistance, fatigue resistance and low friction coefficient. It is light weight, with a density of 1.01-1.06g/cm 3, about 1 / 7 of steel and copper. ▼ UV resistance and atmospheric aging: the UV resistance of PA11 can be used for 2.3-7.6 years depending on different areas; while the anti ultraviolet ability of PA11 with UV absorbent is increased by four times.


The processing process of nylon pipe is: ▼ extrusion process: raw material supplier provides raw material particles to pipeline supplier. The pipeline supplier shall first make the particles into pipelines, and the production equipment mainly consists of several sections: ① feed area, providing continuous raw materials; ② plasticizing area, Heat raw materials to melting state and push forward; ③ set shape area, the area with pipe size determined, and cool rapidly in this area; ④ in subsequent process, the pipeline will be further cooled and cut off in this area to facilitate subsequent production. The area also provides on-line measurement of the outer diameter and wall thickness of the pipeline. Process of forming: the extruded straight pipe is shaped into the required shape. Because nylon is semi crystalline, the process needs to fix the pipe to the mold with shape before heating the pipe. Generally, heating is 1500C and 30rain, and the heating time can be reduced by increasing the temperature. After heating, the pipeline will be cooled to normal temperature. At this time, the pipe can be removed from the mold to complete the shaping process. Assembly procedure: connect the joint and the pipeline according to the design requirements. Generally, there are the following connection modes: ① bamboo joint type, which is generally cold plug-in. ② Clamp type, the method is generally nylon pipe and rubber pipe. It is usually necessary to remove the release agent on the surface of rubber pipe before assembly to increase the pulling force and sealing property of the joint. Detection procedure: because the pipeline is a functional part, it is generally necessary to perform functional inspection after the completion of the pipeline assembly. In general, nylon pipe has a great advantage in performance compared with metal pipe, and it is better in chemical corrosion resistance and wear resistance than steel pipe, which plays a great role in reducing vehicle weight and production cost.



There are many rubber hose structures for automobile, and the basic structure is of common type, reinforced type and coating type. The reinforced type has single layer reinforcement and multi-layer reinforcement, and the composite layer also has single layer and multi-layer composite.

The temperature of NBR (NBR) is 30-100 ℃, mainly used for rubber pipe, sealing ring and oil seal. The Cr (neoprene) is used at 45-100 ℃, mainly used for tape, rubber pipe, wire coating, rubber pad 'dust cover, etc. The temperature of CSM (chlorosulfonated polyethylene rubber) is 20-120 ℃, mainly used for tires, tape, spark plug sheath, wires, electrical parts, O-rings, door and window sealing strips, etc. The temperature of eco (Chloroether rubber) is 40-140 ℃, mainly used for heat rings, diaphragm, damping pad, rubber tube, etc.



As a hard pipe, metal pipe has the advantages of large weight, high cost and easy to break. Therefore, more and more car companies choose to abandon the use of metal pipes. At present, metal aluminum pipes are more suitable for air conditioning system. However, the tensile strength, blasting pressure and aging resistance of metal pipes are better than nylon pipes and rubber pipes. 

Automobile pipeline is like the blood vessel pipeline of human body, and it is an important part of automobile. Good automobile pipeline material, like the blood vessels of healthy human body, can ensure the normal operation of the car. But the pipeline material is not good enough, it is easy to bring more or less harm to the automobile, so the choice of the pipe material is very important in the process of automobile manufacturing!
