Tesla has more than 5,000 supercharging stations worldwide

According to a tweet from the official Tesla Charging account, the number of Tesla Superchargers worldwide has exceeded 5,000. As of the end of April, there were more than 1,600 supercharger stations on the Chinese mainland, according to Tesla China's previous data.

Tesla's supercharging station layout began in 2013. Now, according to the data on Tesla's official website in China, there are more than 45,000 supercharging piles worldwide.

On April 25, Tesla officially announced that it would officially open charging stations in mainland China for some non-Tesla brand new energy vehicles, further promoting the implementation of the "open charging network pilot plan". The first batch of pilot charging stations will include 10 superchargers and 120 destination charging stations.
